bills inclusive utility packages for the 2025/26 academic year

student homes bills inclusive utilities package

Before you move into your new home, it’s important to set up all your utility bills – we know this can be stressful, particularly when you’re organising for larger groups! At Student Homes we offer a bills inclusive package which you can set up from the point of reserving your new home. It’s stress and hassle free and all it takes is ‘opting in’ when you place your holding deposit!

so, what does it mean to take our utilities package?

It means we set up your gas, electric, water and broadband accounts, and you pay us a fixed monthly amount included in your rent.

what are the benefits?

There are many benefits when choosing to go with all bills included and here’s a list of some of the highlights for you to consider!

easy budgeting

You can easily budget for your rent and bills and know how much you will be spending each week or each month. This makes it really easy for you and your housemates to know how much everyone needs to pay towards the bills, and takes any hassle out of splitting the utility costs across you and your housemates!

fixed energy prices

The energy price you pay is fixed from the point that you reserve, until the end of your tenancy, so you don’t need to worry about any increases to energy prices that might happen before you move in. This is really handy for budgeting and peace of mind.

fixed monthly payments

The price you pay to us does not change based on your monthly usage, subject to a fair usage policy, so there are no nasty surprises over winter, and fewer arguments about when you can turn the heating on! Our bills provider will keep you up to date with how much energy you are using, so you can keep within the fair usage amount.

local internet providers

The internet service we have are local to Leamington Spa and they provide speeds up to 300mbps!

hassle free:

Usually when setting up bills you have to talk to multiple companies and set up multiple accounts; our bills inclusive package removes the need for you to do that, saving you time and energy (no pun intended)!

easy contact

There’s no need to chat to AI bots regarding your bills or wait on hold for hours at a time to speak to someone about your bills query. We have shorter wait times and we’re also contactable in person, at our Leamington office, too!

How do I take out the Utilities Package?

when you have reserved a property: Email leamington@studenthomes.net with your reserved property address in the subject line, and we will add you on to the list!
